While I was packing up books for the move I found several sketchbooks from like 2016-18 that I just never finished

What's the difference between muji and normal journals?

oh muji is just a jp brand and they have their own line of stationery that's relatively inexpensive
i find that their gel pens write/draw really smoothly on their cheap notebooks so thats what i like drawing with haha

Do you know if they have grid rule ones by any chance?

I forget the proper technical name for grid ruled paper but I wanna get a new one before I run out of sheets in my current one

yes they have grid notebooks

and they even have dot grid but those are wire-bound with plastic covers, a bit more expensive than their line of cheap notebooks

i bought the dot grid to attempt to bullet journal but i found my style of journalling is very minimal so that poor notebook has gone to waste

i might do something with it later... idk what yet

My brain can't work with dot paper, I tried with some my sister brought home from her calligraphy club and it made no sense to me

it's good for making charts and stuff without being overly distracting like grid can be haha

I feel more organized when I write on grid paper for some reason

i have a very unexciting life so i barely need to write things down

my friends have been using notebooks to take notes and reminders for games, i should try that too..
