Today Namie Amuro announced today that in a year she will retire.
She is my favorite artist, and I've loved her and her music since 2005. I'm so upset.
There is a very slim chance that I could get a ticket to Japan to see her (I can just put the money on a card and then worry about paying it later) but the hardest part is going to be getting a ticket. I'm sure that her concerts are going to sell out super quickly. Plus, yes I know and can read Japanese, but I don't know all the Kanji and I'm sure that any ticket I picked up would be bought before I have the chance. :(
She is still a huge deal in Japan, even after 25 years and there will be others like me who will want to see her from overseas.
