I remember many years ago on TV in December, I watched a Christmas movie and one character had a laptop and he was like, practically in love with the thing. He even referred to it as "Lappy". It somehow got destroyed and he was grieving over it.
This wasn't the main character and the movie wasn't a "Lonely Man"x"Laptop" weird romantic thing. This is the only thing I remember about the movie.

It somewhat reminded me of Strongbad from Homestar Runner. I feel like the laptop on there at one point had the brand name of "Lappy" or something like that.
