There's 5 "Parts", three of which had made some sort of appearance
on Adult Swim in America. Cagliostro came out in 1979. The manga
had its debut in 1967, the first anime (green jacket) came out in 1971.
Part II (red jacket) came out in 1977. Part III (pink jacket) in 1984.
Part IV came out in 2015 and Part 5 came out in 2018. Parts II, IV and
5 all aired at some point on Adult Swim/Toonami. (Part 5 is currently
finishing up on Toonami now!)
Today, Toonami announced that the OVA "Is Lupin Still Burning...?" will
air on December 14th on Toonami! "Goodbye Partner," a special, recently
released digitally on Amazon, as well as "Goemon's Blood Spray" and
"Fujiko's Lie" just released as well. And a 3DCG film is set to air in Japan
on December 6th. Also another special called "Prison of the Past" is
coming out this year, too, in Japan!
This year has sported more Lupin content than any year has!

YES! The first movie I ever owned on DVD was the Lupin x Conan movie!

@Loopawn: wow, i had no clue it was officially 52 years now. and the jackets, yes! an explanation! i don't think i've seen anything past part 2.. man, i really feel like i'm out of the loop with this series. so thanks for the info! i wish they released more lupin on streaming platforms, so then i could watch it and catch up. i wonder if he has that same ol dorky voice the rest of the series lol (i watch dubbed)
@ephenay: It's old and proud! The creator passed away earlier this way, sadly... RIP Monkey Punch. But ever since his passing, the franchise has continued to have gone through a true renaissance! All 5 parts are on Crunchyroll! The dub for Part II, included! Parts IV and 5's dubs may be available elsewhere, like... maybe Hulu? I'm not entirely sure!
I do know Part IV's dub is available on, surprisingly enough, FUNimation's site (or was, I'm not sure if it still is.) And both Part IV and 5 are available on the Adult Swim app! It usually posts the next day after it airs on TV!
