@Tsundererra: I hate them too. I hate that they have so much power. What’s wrong with not bans guns but at FUCKING LEAST making background checks and don’t sell weapons made to kill lots of people at once.
I think for too long we have allowed reckless gun control, so now I say ban them. You guys couldn’t play nice so it’s time to take the ‘toy’ away.

@Totalanimefan: Saaaaame. All I wanted was a background checks and a ban on assault rifles (because let’s be real, that is overkill for self defense or hunting). Most people who have been against guns have wanted at least this much too, but they’ve been thinking we meant ALL guns. Welp, maybe we should take all the guns.
The only change that has come from these most recent shootings is that white mass shooters are now considered domestic terrorists, and not mentally ill. Also, I’m tired of the GOP’s counter argument that the mass shootings aren’t a gun problem, but a mental one, and yet they’re taking away funding from mental health care.

@Tsundererra: Yeah cause those GOP arguments are made in bad faith. They aren’t actually about mental health, they are about diverting the conversation away from the real problem. Because that’s the first step to finding solutions. And they know that.
I hate to wish for someone’s death but maybe when the other Koch brother dies a lot of lobbying will stop and we can actually get some laws passed.
