Yeah. There was about an hour+ left of work today when a maintenance guy comes to my office (which is on the 3rd floor of the building) and tells everyone that we need to leave. There was a small electrical fire and the building is filling with carbon monoxide.
Everyone in my offices leaves down the stairs as quickly as possible and on the ground floor there was a lot of smoke. I'm ok and everyone in the building was ok.
The fire department came and I don't know how long they were there. About 20 mins after I left the building I was told I could go home for the day because there was no way we would be allowed back in in an hour. I don't know if the building will be ok tomorrow because of the carbon monoxide. The HVAC unit was getting worked on today when the fire happened, so it's not like they can have that filter the air in the building.
