When I was a kid, I was sick one time. He was asleep on the couch, under a blanket when my uncle and cousin came in. My cousin wanted to sit down on the couch and, when he did, he got attacked by the dog and cat.

Aw, it’s sweet how protective pets are of their owners. They really do get attached and don’t want anything messing with the people they care about.

That dog was very protective of me. My parents got her exactly a year before I was born.

Two of the cats I used to have would lay with my brother in his car seat when he was baby and would not let people touch him while he was sleeping. They didn’t want him woken up. I get that some animals can be rough, but people don’t know how good they can be with small children. They’re like little furry babysitters.
My current eldest cat actually rescued me once. When I was still in school, I got really sick once and passed out on the bathroom floor. He found me lying there and actually went and woke my mom up in the middle of the night and led her to where I was.
