Yep. I had a feeling.
When sand blows away from you it lets you see, but also if you heat up sand it becomes glass which is see through.
The build a castle and tear down mountains riddle is the current one right?

Sounds like a good fit. I was going to say light but it didn't fit for the second half of the riddle.
