@Dipper: I feel like RainbowPanda's answer makes more sense though, because the riddle says the first brother sits and never gets up, but the hour hand does move, just very slowly. And it also says the third brother leaves and never returns but all the hands make revolutions around the clock.

The hands of a clock just doesn't make sense to me because the quickest hand does come back around the clock. And all the hands move

The last one was letters so it's unlikely this one would be focused around that. I do kind of wonder if the things she says when she offers the riddle have any bearing on the answer though. I pretty much pay attention whenever italics are involved. XD
