@Another Movie Addict: Naughty Halloween is tomorrow! I bought a mask and glitter makeup! I am pretty excited!

@Another Movie Addict: We call it Maškara or Karneval. Its a week long party before the Lenten season...oh I got it. The English version is Mardi Gras. I don't know why people translated it to me as naughty halloween. :vanora_xd:

@Saeyra: Nope. Isn't it supposed to be like a Catholic thing? Like I know it's mostly associated with showing off bewbies for beads, but it's supposed to be like a religious thing?
@Another Movie Addict: Uhmm Catholics stole it but it was initially a pagan ritual to symbolize the banishing of winter and evil spirits and all that. Catholics just use it to basically have an excuse to be naughty before they have to fast during Lent.

@Another Movie Addict: We have these guys who have no less than 3 bells around them. Their job is to scare away the winter spirits and call call the spring spirits to wake up. So they can take their sheep and cattle out to graze.
