So I went into the inventory to set up my avatar but it doesn't have any options at all. When I click on skin or eyes or whatever there are no options to equip. I bought a pair of pants to see what would happen and they show up ok but I'm a bit confused.
@Rasendra: You don't start out with any items. You can buy the face items like eyes in the shops. I'll send you some more volts.

Thank you for posting this, is there a way to sell an item back to the store you bought it from? I bought two hair styles that are identical in every way. Thank you!
@Monokai: Yes, you can sell back an item to the shop through your inventory. You'll want to navigate to your avatar dressing room. Then you'll see the inventory button on the upper right. Once in there you can manage your items. You can sell them by clicking them and you'll see the option.
