That sounds like a good day... but nothing specific planned other than D&D, huh? Yeah, I get that... I wish I didn't have to do this work right now, tbh, but I've procrastinated getting it done for quite long enough... *sigh*
Lol my next outing is on Thursday evening. Friends and I are going to see the Doctor Strange movie.
There's a (new) Dr. Strange movie? I didn't know that (but then again, I don't frequent movies any more, or keep up with actors, etc., so it shouldn't really be a surprise)...
Yep. I decided that I wanted to go opening night for my birthday. Bought the tickets, and making dinner plans. ^w^

Thursday is also Cinquo de Mayo isn't it? I'm sure you're sick of that by this point, but it does provide a few extra celebratory opportunities you might not otherwise have - especially in the middle of the week.

Yeah, it might. Unfortunately. But some of that likely depends on where you're going and what you're doing. The business crowd is probably going to go out earlier; the college crowd, later... As long as you're aware and don't do anything too silly, you should be ok though... right?

Well yeah... that makes sense actually. I haven't driven through Tallahassee often, but it sounds like downtown Tampa here (or pretty much any other city I've driven in)... if they're local, they're crazy... and if they're visiting, they're lost and/or confused. It's not a good mix. I'm guessing you're not going to the capitol?

I didn't think you were downtown, though... are you? Or are you a little more on the outskirts? Either way, you could always find a quiet corner or take some back roads...???
We could do that, but a lot of the back roads are closed from construction honestly. The fastest way to the theater will be through some of the more...bar heavy areas.
That's unfortunate. Just keep your eyes open, I guess. There's only so much of life you can ever control anyway...

Eh to be fair most people drive drunk around here, or high on something.
Or they're texting or otherwise distracted. *sigh* Yeah... same in some of the denser or more touristy areas here, it seems.
