I think the meat I had at the restaurant tonight had onions powder on it. I’m not horrible, but I do feel like I have a big stone in my gut from where it is.
I hate being unable to eat onions.
I am also tired but not yet ready for bed.

@KittyBeary: my tummy can’t digest them at all. I’m sick for hours if I have any. Even just onions powder can make my stomach upset. :( Onions are in everything too. I can only have soup if I make it on my own.
Almost no Indian or Chinese food I can eat.

Meat products are in damn near everything too, as a friend of mine has discovered the hard way multiple times (meat gives her horrible stomach pain). Even many "vegetable" products like soups.

@CooperationIsKey: I really feel for her. Her’s is probably as common as mine. At least she could order off the vegan menu?
The one thing that sucks about mine is that it’s pretty rare. So you can’t go to a place and ask for the onion-free menu lol.

Just had some meds for my tummy. Once those work a little bit I might head to bed. The medicine isn’t perfect but it helps

@Totalanimefan: True, though sometimes things you just don't expect, like mac & cheese or mashed potatoes, even have meat broth in them. She's had to stop eating her favorites at multiple places because it makes her so miserable.
I had about a year where meat was hurting my stomach, but I could still eat tuna and turkey (but not chicken). Eventually it went away for me, though; she's not been so lucky. She can eat tuna though at least.
But yeah, she's pretty danged careful about what she orders, now. And that's understandable, onion is used as a flavoring in darn near everything so I can definitely believe that's hard to avoid!!

@CooperationIsKey: I’m so sorry that happened to her. I’ve had a few run ins with restaurants where you think you are getting something that doesn’t have what you can’t have, but then it does and the rest of the day/night is ruined.
You know, sometimes I have chicken and my stomach doesn’t like it and sometimes I’m ok.
