well, beef based one since i don't eat really eat lamb
i made mashed potatoes with just potatoes and half n half since i didn't have butter or cream, and it turned out better than expected lol
@Vixen: The hawk seemed to be hunting to me as it zoomed by and landed in the grass.
I mess with ingredients and combinations all the time for recipes. Basically I use a recipe more as a double-check of ingredients, temperatures and time than anything else at this point...

@CooperationIsKey: lol - thanks. Everywhere else I've lived over the years have had their own distinct traffic patterns, etc., but here, it seems like everything is very willy-nilly and I can only point at the constant influx of tourists and re-locations and snowbirds as part of the reason why :3

@Merynia: I have a couple plants in need of a repot, myself. One is a Raven ZZ Plant that's still in its nursery pot, and the other is an inchplant/Wandering Dude that has exploded in growth way faster than I know how to keep up with!

What in god's name happened to the backs of my fingers that they're popping up in tiny blisters? Doesn't hurt, doesn't itch, just looks gross. I don't think I've touched anything weird. o_O

I had to google your plants' names, and turns out I've known the inchplant since childhood 😊
If your variety is Tradescantia zebrina, it can cause skin irritation when handled or after contact with its sap.
Maybe that's what you are reacting to? 🤔

@Merynia: Lol, I guess I could have said it was tradescantia zebrina to begin with but I never know if people know it better by the scientific name or the common names... Oh well. XD
And I don't think so, though thank you for reminding me, I genuinely forgot. I've never had a reaction to it before, even after a lot of handling, plus I haven't touched it at all in a couple of days (when I moved it).
It's the weirdest thing, though, primarily the back of my right index finger, some of them red looking kinda like I hit something. I've had hives before but they've never looked like this. ¯|_(ツ)_|¯
