@Wildfire: yeah 2020 really wore me down and 2021 hasn’t really been letting up yet lol
Painters, cleaners (they didn’t yet pros to clean the place before they moved out it was really gross!!), called the guys are wiring fast internet cause the house is over 100 years ago. Movers coming in Tuesday too.
We are almost completely packed in our old place. We don’t have many boxes left.

We are only paining both bedrooms (plus closets and baseboards) for now but once we saw the house without the furniture in it we saw the awful paint job on the first floor it’s pretty bad. For the home office we went with a color called relish we couldn’t decide on a blue and there was a green we liked we picked green instead. For the bedroom we went with a color called Montgomery white which is actually yellow lol

True... this has been a very long January so far (even for those of us who are not in the middle of moving (again)).

It sounds like you're making a good amount of headway though and that within a week you'll be well ahead of things and enjoying your new house.

What are you doing with the bottom rooms though, if they're so badly painted? ... unless the bedrooms that you are painting are there on the bottom floor (but that would be a very unusual layout for a house - especially one in that area of the US)?

@Wildfire: yeah a week from now things will be back to ‘normal’ but in a new house.

@Wildfire: there are two bedrooms upstairs those the only bedrooms and they were getting painted before I saw the house without furniture I just knew that I didn’t want the bedrooms to be their current color.
I hadn’t thought about painting the living room or dining room until I saw it without the furniture and the paint job looks really bad but that’s for a future me to figure out.
