Yeah COVID is bad for food banks because not only are people less likely to donate, but also more people are using the service. I believe something like 30% of the people they are helping out are first timers. Which just breaks my heart. I know my sister had to use it this year because of COVID.

Yeah it's really putting pressure on their systems. I also gave because I tend to give the week of Thanksgiving and Christmas. I feel like that's when they need it the most.
