I have quilts to work on. Trying to get a tshirt quilt finished for a cousin and I wanted to make my parents a quilt for Christmas.

finally home from work
i am back to 8 hour days instead of 4 now and i'm still adjusting
Now that I actually have a spot set up for my sewing machine I'm going to try to start sewing more often. Starting with trying to use up some of my fabric stash I have built up.

like thrifting old sheets etc to use as fabric for stuff :3

I just splurged the other day on some hexagon precuts of Liberty of London tana cotton lawn. And 6 yards of binding.
Liberty of London fabric is gorgeous but ouch is it spendy.

I'm going to eventually stitch the hexagons together into rings and applique them to a background square and add some sashing strips between the squares to make a quilt out of eventually.
Probably going to have to pick up a little bit more of it at some point. I would like to try to get at least a twin size quilt eventually.
But a little bit at a time, because spendy. The tiny bit of precuts and binding I bought the other day came to about 65 dollars.

No, the quilt binding is what goes around the sides of a quilt, to cover the raw edges.
