- Another bit of history trivia that I don't know how to phrase in a question but want to share anyway:
When King Henry VIII created the Church of England, he also created a law where Churches of England had to follow a new bible. On one occassion in a church with a large group of protestents(?), when the priest brought out the new bible, the churchgoers refused to read the new bible and demanded they stick with the old one. Since the priest would get in trouble, he ended up getting the crowd to obey with the new bible by literally pulling out guns and threatening the churchgoers.
