@dragoness129: Sounds like something going on with my Uni. She used detect thoughts, heard some shady stuff, no one believes her.
I'm an Aarakocra in the Tomb of Anniahlation. She has a flaw of being slow to trust members of other races, tribes, and societies.
In this instance, it came in handy!
Uni just likes to stir up trouble, and I only really picked Detect Thoughts because we have a mute party member. She's played someone who likes to create characters with severe handicaps. Right now only one of us knows sign language, and my Uni is too stupid to learn it really. But on a whim I decided to use it on a person we're doing a mission for. After that Uni uses nothing but insults whenever she sees the suspicious man. Everyone else just tries to make Uni shut up.
Ah, that sounds pretty challenging but also interesting to play.
Sounds like the party just doesn't like hearing your character open her mouth.
They are always telling her to shut up.
To be fair to them, I have been know to play Uni while drunk. Which means Uni runs her mouth a lot, and gets into a lot of fights because of it. Or something else goes completely sideways. She's among a lot of folks who are like purely good.
