@AelloTyphoeus: when youre at it, also visit Belgium, Germany and France. They're all within 500 km (~310 miles)

@Tuijp: Will do. Germany was already on my list due to the fact that I can speak German, and France was almost a must just for the food, but Belgium hadn't hit my radar before.

@AelloTyphoeus: Belgium has the same kind of food as France, same kind of beer as Germany, but with very friendly people
Oh and lots of Belgian chocolates, what is just yum

@aellotyphoeus: I do love coffee. Unfortunately, I can't usually eat for 1-2 hours after waking up. And when I have early shifts, I usually roll out of bed with barely enough time to get dressed and out the door. But I can usually have one coffee without food and be fine.

@Kaderin Triste: Well as long as you can have one coffee on an empty stomach then it's not terrible.

@aellotyphoeus: Yeah, my body is used to at least a little coffee on an empty stomach...

@Kaderin Triste: I could drink a 12 cup pot of coffee with no food til lunch. Mind you coffee is my sustenance.

@aellotyphoeus: I mean....technically so could I, it would just make me a little shaky. And actually, I have had days where I get coffee before work, have coffee at work, and then buy more on the way home. I don't always have the money to do that though.

@Kaderin Triste: That's good. I can normally drink all the coffee I want with no issues. I've drank an entire pot before bed once. The only thing that happened then was some super weird dreams.

@aellotyphoeus: Lol. Done that! Didn't dream at all. XD
I love when I get coffee in the evening and everyone is all "oooh, you're gonna be up all night!".
Lol. Nope.

@Kaderin Triste: Lols. I'd also had Asian food so that may have caused it too. I've been drinking black coffee since I was probably 4. Everyone says that's why I'm so short, but idk.

I'm not a morning person at all. I usually feel my best in the evening and at night. Mornings can be okay if I have something fun/interesting to do though.

@aellotyphoeus: I think that whole "coffee stunts your growth" is bull. I've been drinking black coffee since I was probably around 8 or 9 and I'm 5'8".

Oh gosh, I'm totally with you. I'm so terrible at properly waking up in the mornings, especially when bed and the potential of more sleep is right there.
Of course, I'll be sleepy all day and then the minute it gets dark in the evenings I'm wide awake. :')

@Boris: The only reason it's not anymore is because now I'm an old fuddy duddy who goes to bed at like 9pm.

Most of the time, I enjoy mornings. They're full of opportunity and a sense of renewal; but if my morning goes bad, then the rest of my day will probably follow suit. c':

My day will do a full 180. I will have the worst morning ever and as soon as it's no longer morning (or maybe it's when my coffee kicks in) I will have the best rest of the day.

@AelloTyphoeus: I don't think its the morning so much as the act of waking up! It doesn't matter what time of day I wake up I always hate it and I am cranky! I feel like I am being ripped from my warm safe place forcefully. Not to mention my dreams are always really vivid, so waking up is extremely disorienting for me. I usually start cussing out anyone who wakes me up. I like to think of dying as the eternal sleep where no one can wake me up ever! (not that I wanna kill myself, it just doesn't seem that bad)
