do you also not eat fish? dashi has fish in it, but you can make it vegetarian by skipping the bonito and only using seaweed and it's a fabulous soup base

i just ate something soupy and spicy so i am no longer freezing.
i vaguely remember sai being a thing and i liked how the blending in that program always looked "watery" and i think clip studio has a similar effect. i could never reproduce it in photoshop though.

@Shadami: yeah the current photoshop is subscription based which is like...not very worth unless you're a professional user. most people aren't. i'm still using cs6 and don't draw nearly often enough to pay for sub. never did creative cloud. i think clip studio is one of the big ones people use nowadays, so there should be lots of tutorials around!

@Totalanimefan: oh wow, that's a lot of places! I heard kyoto + osaka are great to visit together, but tokyo is a bit of a ways out to comfortably explore in addition to those two

@Totalanimefan: yes! I had a mix froyo natural flavor and matcha, which was delicious. and a lavender froyo. also delicious. and fresh local milk every morning at breakfast, which was wild. i don't recall having any local cheeses though, but not sure if that's a common thing to make there.

@Totalanimefan: i want fresh crab and fried fish and.... -incoherently listing more food-
The one thing I remember really strongly about hokkaido food is 1) lavender flavored everything and 2) the milk. the milk is very distinctively rich there.
@Shadami: layer adjustments are fun... i tend to use color dodge, screen, and multiply a lot because it's easy highlights and shadows
@Crystalkitsune85: i love daiso. it's like you go in there and there's all these things i never knew i needed HA.
