*panicked squeaking*
“Not to worry. Those pieces can’t have gone far, can they? C’mon, spread out, let’s look for them.”
“This map is our ticket home, we’ll need all the help we can get.”

Summary

Vaughn wants to try to find a way to help counter all the nightmares.
Design an item that can help promote sweeter dreams!

How It Works

Design an item with any of the following themes: sweet dreams, cozy sleep, comfort, anti-nightmare.

You may submit up to three entries.

When submitting, post in this thread with @Vaughn with your entry.

Entries will be accepted until November 30th at 11:59pm Voltra Time

Winner will be decided by a vote starting December 1st until December 5th.

If there is a tie, a tie breaker round will commence between the top voted entries.

If multiple designs by one person reach the top three, only their highest rated will receive a prize and the next highest rated design will take their place.

Prizes

The top three voted designs will be added to Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.
The winners will receive their item, along with a Reaping Ritual '21 Bundle!

All participants will receive a Reaping Ritual '21 Goodie Bag.

You see a very tired Vaughn hunched over a table, puffing away at his cigar as he rubs at his temples. he doesn't seem to notice you right away, his attention fully directed down to the papers strewn out in front of him. Curious what he's up to, and why he seems to stressed, you give a light cough, turning him to glance back at you.

"Ah, hey there..." He mutters, his tone sounding more somber than usual. Well now you need to know what's wrong.

"Heh... You been under a rock this whole time?" He smiles weakly, shrugging, "Half the city's under some kinda curse or spell or somethin'. I couldn't tell ya, magic's never been my thing, ya know?" He sighs, pushing his hair back, "Neither's inventin', really. That was more my kid's thing but uh... Well, guess who got hit by that spell."

You can understand the stress he's been under, perhaps there's something you can do to help?

"I'd appreciate it. See, I was thinking we could find some kind of way to.. I don't know, counter their nightmares with somethin' a lil' more pleasant? Problem is, I got no idea how to even begin approachin' that. But hey, if you've got any ideas, I'm all ears."

The Rules

• Deadline for submitting entries is January 23rd at 11:59PM Voltra Time.
• Afterwards, a poll we be created for users to vote on their favourite design. Polls will close on January 29th.

The goal of this contest is to design a Vibrance Day themed craftable item that Valentina can sell in Reduced, Reused, Reinventions. This means, along with your design's artwork, you will also need to supply a recipe made up of commons to create this item!

The Rules

The theme of this contest is Vibrance Day. (suggestions: flowers, trees, ribbons, tea, love)

Each user can submit up to three designs. (no mules)

Each design must be a single pose item.

Submissions aren't judged based on art skill, but on ideas!

Submissions will close on April 28th at 11:59 PM Voltra Time.

A poll will then be open, and users will vote on the winners!

Polls will close on May 4th at 11:59 PM Voltra Time.

Winners will be announced the next day during event closing.

As you approach the plaza, a curious sight catches your attention. You notice Vaughn Mard'Gear, curled up on some nearby steps. He seems frustrated as he scribbles on a portable drafting board, balled up papers surrounding him.

"Oh, hey there. Er, mind the mess..." Vaughn sighs, setting his board down as he rubs his face, "I wanted to surprise Valentina with a new blueprint for her shop, but I can't for the life of me think of anythin' and she'll be here any moment..."

He gives you a playful smirk as an idea seems to hit, "Hey, ya seem pretty clever... What d'ya say? Wanna help a poor, helpless father bring joy to his kid for Vibrance Day? Come on, I'll reward ya for your troubles..."
