So the lovely @Panda: suggested I do some avi edits to try out the tooling pixel style. I'm mostly a traditional hard-edge pixelist but I've done tool shading in the past. It's a huge learning curve, since I don't even do digital drawings, but it was fun to experiment with! Plus the bases here are just too cute to stay away from, so I'll be posting any new random edits I made here and there. ^^

I'll start this off with some little retro items: a dress, bandana, and platform heels. Here's the grayscales as well as a colored version with roses.




Next is a set inspired by one of my OCs. I did three versions: one grayscale, one black/white, and one in blue and pink. I removed the vest for each as well to show off the top. ^^

@Panda: So far it's going surprisingly well. xD

@Queen Prisma: There's a lot of cute little bases out there but the one you offer is super cute. ^^ I like your tiny pixels!

@Panda: Sounds good. ;D I'm starting with a retro kinda dress.

@Panda: I've always enjoyed doing avi edits so I might do a couple for fun. ^^ Plus the bases here are just so adorable!

@Panda: I can understand wanting to be able to pixel a bit easier. xD Hard pixeling can be really finicky with lines and proper shading and I think you can get away with more when doing tool shading. I might have to give tool shading a shot again just for kicks.

@Panda: Yeah, I noticed that's definitely the trend nowadays. I really like the way it turns out but the traditional pixels like what Ernya had and Roliana still has will always hold a special place in my heart.

@Panda: Lol no worries! I was a pixelist back on Sapherna way back when but college kinda got in the way so I left. >< I don't really mind tool shading. Just not my forte. xD

@Panda: I'm not very good at tool shading otherwise I would give it a shot. xD I'm more of a traditional pixelist than a tool pixel artist.

I agree that this layout looks WAY better. It's much easier to navigate, too. Good job, Baz!

@Dowan: Yeah, I was gone for quite a while. xD Had the wedding and then work stuff and then the honeymoon so I had very little extra time on my hands. It was such a nice trip though, so it was worth it. <3 How's it going?

Profiles have been fixed to work with the new website format! Slot is open as well. ^^
