@fuwapuff: Well, desktop, really. And most of my characters are on Exodus(Primal DC?), although I have a presence on every North American DC.

Well, it's new to me.
Anyway, I recently ordered a refurb off of Newegg(actually, from a 3rd party, but it was though Newegg). It's a 3.2ghz Intel i5 3rd gen quad-core CPU with 16GB of RAM. I'll need to get a separate video card at some point; like my old computer, the onboard video can't really handle Final Fantasy XIV all that well. But the best thing? A fresh install of Windows 10, and nothing but! No bloatware to deal with, yay~
But now, I get to install games, games, and oh God too many games, lol...

@faerie graveyard: There's enough Menewshan expats on here -- at some point, it'll be easier to see who's NOT here yet.

@koneko: Right now, I'm looking to get something with at least 8GB of RAM and a 3.0+Ghz CPU.
If I can get that, and a discrete video card for less than $300 refurbished, I'll be quite happy.

@koneko: that's an option, but newish computer takes priority.
This one is six years old, and chugs on running FF XIV. I'd like to be able to fight monsters and stuff, lol
