Nala may have only been human but the feeling of fear, or at least something like it, was radiating off of him in waves the size of tsunami's. This worried her and the fear grabbed a hold of her as if it were a cold that Fraust had given to her.

The tension never left, even as he skipped over, which was an awkward action to say the least. She grabbed the drink that was just handed to her and sipped it greatfully. Now was the time she really needed it.

"Thank you." She gave him a small reassuring smile before glancing back at the headless man. "Nice..to meet you." I think She thought.

(( Sorry! I've been sick. ))

Nala relaxed a bit, relieved to know she hadn't come across as offensive or disrespectful. She would had felt horrible. As she opened her mouth to explain that he wouldn't have to tell her, her eyes caught sight of the feathers. Brown eyes went wide, not in fear, but excitement and curiosity. She had never seen anyone like him before. Questions flooded her head as she stared, almost mesmerized, taking in as much detail as she could.

"Amazing..." Was all she could manage to get out before the sound of sudden clapping nearly caused her to fly out of her seat. Her head whipped around to the headless stranger. Her hand instantly went up to the side of her beanie to fiddle with it, eyes glancing towards Faust and Viceroy.

Nala couldn't help but smile more kinder at Viceroy. He seemed rather nice. Something she could not say for Jazz. She wasn't too sure why she put up with him, but she could be mean right back.
"Looks like someone isn't getting the drink they ordered." She grinned before turning her eyes back to Faust. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to be rude." She quickly said, fidgeting with the beanie on her head. "Would it be too much to ask..what you are then?"

The sudden change in Faust caused Nala to tense. Had Jazz gone too far this time? If he got them kicked out of another place, she was going to be really upset. Her anxiety slowly started to rise a bit, so much so that she nearly flew out of her seat when Viceroy came up to her. Letting out a breath she hadn't realized she had been holding in, Nala nodded with a small smile. "Good to know." She pondered a moment, a question so much on the tip of her tongue that there was no stopping it as it came out of her mouth. "Is he human?"

The question caught Nala so off guard, she wasn't sure how to respond at first. Had she heard wrong? She had two options here. She could go for the truthful approach. The con to this was, it may come off as rude, which is not something she wanted to really do. The second option was to guess a safe number that likely wasn't his real age. Though, maybe he would find that rude as well? Her brown eyes studied him for a moment before coming to an answer; honesty.

"Late twenties, early thirties maybe?" She questioned.

Nala watched with extreme interest and curiosity as the drinks were being made. She had never actually been to a bar or pub before. It was very exciting, nerve racking and intriguing all at the same time. The people here seemed nice and her friends were around her, thus successfully pushing her anxiety away a little bit at a time. "Sour is okay with me." She said with a genuine smile that lit up her eyes. She nudged Jazz back with her own shoulder and rolled her eyes at his comment but the smile didn't leave.

Nala whined the moment his hand collided with her head. "Hey!" She shouted with a pout, rubbing where he had hit.
For a split second, she thought of making up some lie to say he wasn't supposed to be drinking. Faust wouldn't be any wiser and Jazz would get what he deserved. In the end, she couldn't be 'mean' like that. "He's of age." She nodded. "Even if he doesn't act like it. And lemons are fine with me." She smiled, getting very excited for the drink. She may have been a picky eater but tasting new drinks was lots of fun.

As Nala was putting away her ID, she couldn't help but glance up. Faust was giving Jazz SUCH a look. It was taking everything in her power to not burst out laughing. At one point, she even had to cover her mouth. "T-that would be great. Thank you." She smiled, trying to keep her face together. While admittedly she knew nothing about these two men, Fraust and Viceroy, if they kept this up, she planned on staying her for awhile. Never in the time that she has known Jazz had anyone done this. Where was popcorn when you needed it?

Relieved that her friend had noticed her little issue, Nala gave Jazz a smile to relay a 'thank you' before turning her eyes back to Faust, feeling a tiny bit better. "Yup, I do." She reached in her pocket and pulled out a wallet with her ID and showed it to him. The age on the card reveled her to be 29, meaning, unless they had changed the law, she was able to drink. "Here you go." She slid the card across the bar so that he could see. "And nah, I'm not too picky...when it comes to drinks t least." She giggled.

Ignoring Jazz's words, though not before sending a quick glare his way, Nala rubbed that back of her head in embarrassment. "Oh, I meant more..." She paused, looking for the right words. Talking to people wasn't her strong point. She hadn't meant tea. She had meant a light alcohol that wouldn't get her wasted but would just calm her nerves. Only, she wasn't sure how to request that. She didn't want to seem rude since Faust had already suggested the tea. Her anxiety began to rise as she glanced to Luc and Jazz for some assistance.

Nala whipped her head around, mouth agape at what had just left Jazz's mouth. She was at a loss for words. After a few seconds, she finally mustered up a glare and flicked him off. Not without a small smile threatening to reveal itself before quickly turning away so that he wouldn't see it. 'Jerk.' She thought, snickering to herself.

"Didn't Gabe remind you to bring your ID?" She questioned Luc while waiting for a response from Fraust.

Nala couldn't contain the small giggle at the display that Jazz had put on but rolled her eyes none the less. Subconsciously, her hand reached up and pulled one side of the beanie down just a small bit. There was nothing under there but hair, still, it was a small habit of hers to fiddle with something when feeling anxious. The pub was slowly getting more people, something she wasn't very accustomed to. Though, despite her uneasiness, she couldn't help but show some mild interest with the talking skull head. Maybe she just needed a drink to relax.

"What do you recommend to sip on to just relax?" She questioned Faust, smile still in place, eyeing the other male with slight confusion.

Nala hooked onto his arm with glee before turning her eyes to Jazz. Should she warn the man behind the bar to not serve him alcohol? He was probably a smart man, he could figure it out she was sure.
"I've missed you, Luke!" She paused before waving her hand dismissively at Jazz. "You too, I guess." She giggled and let go of Luke's arm to find a seat.

Nala hesitated outside the door for a breath before finally opening it up. Typically she wasn't one to go alone, but the urge for something new was too heavy to deny. Curious by nature, once her brown eyes had landed on this place there was no going back. She put on a smile and walked in through the door.

"Luke?!" She gasped, smile broad on her face now. Not wanting to be impolite, she turned her gaze to the man behind the bar and did a small bow. "Hello there, sir. Nice to meet you." The smile never wavered.
