@Wildfire: where I live you can see them up close. I love the sound it makes when they prep the balloons. it's something I've always seen since I was a kid as my mother loved hot air balloons.

@Wildfire: yeah and it's often very crowded too. In the morning ones they mostly have photography contests
but there isn't very many activies for the adults i don't really think.
but they offer various of foods like funnel cake, donuts, sausages.

I think in my town its only during memorial weekend in September.
But there is one hot air balloon festival i want to go.
I think it's in Albuquerque. They do it so different.

We have what is called a night glow, which at night the hot air balloons light up.
But they do not take off or lift off the ground.
But in Albuquerque they do lift off.

i saw the news last night.
sad.
tho i wasn't particularly active so it wasn't too devastating for me
as i made no friends there XD
and a lot of the system i did not like. the block system over there i felt was not too good/
and i always got confused navigating the whole avatar sytem.
but loved the dye sytem.

but it's always sad seeing an avatar site go :(
especially from the amount of love and work that is put into an avatar site.
but life happens.

and some friends been drawing art of my OC so now i gotta make it into a draw this in your style challenge.
no idea if it'll get any takers but it'll be for fun.

yeah. Luckily by the time i recover it'll be time for the hot air balloon festival.
September will be a hard month but my fam thinks we should go and try to have fun regardless.

@Wildfire: yup we back in business!!
tho the whole dashboard for the keyboard on my laptop is completely fried so I had to buy a wireless keyboard.
but I'm happy with my purchase since eventually I was going to do so for my new desktop setup.

Now my laptop is practically just a monitor with USB ports

my knee feels okay tho now my other one is bothering me. I overall need to lose some weight so there isn't as much pressure on my knees. Once I'm recovered we are going on many walks.

im resting lots and keeping my legs elevated. Swelling is gone so we can measure and order my brace.
