I usually have mine from 2500x3500 depending on what i want for the piece.
I usually don't go under 2500 mark though.
However I keep mine at 600dpi.
But most say to have it between 350 dpi or higher.

@Lithium: My sketchbook arrived a few days ago
but waiting on my erasers.
Says it will not arrive until tuesday tho. :vanora_cry:
I don't often buy art supplies cause im mostly a digital artist
but I am wanting to go deep into the art studies and improve traditional work.
tho i very much underestimated the size of the sketchbook lmao.
But it'll last ages at least lol.

@Lina: yeah i agree.
and then i lost like 5 just because i did not have anything to post for 2 weeks loll.
It's tricky.
But i am excited for all my pinktober concepts im doing.
even if they go unseen i will see them as a win because it's pushed me to draw more
full bodies and experiment with my art.

but i also don't want to only do fanart as if i get followers for that if i suddenly don't

I don't drive, i don't go to school and kinda work from home but kinda not lmao.
I only have to go to the doctors. after that, never leaving my house again lol.

@Jolly: i don't leave my house...like ever since the pandamic started..and before
so i can't say i've had the mask trouble cause im too scared to go out lmao.
we have three fans in the house and 3 air purifiers.
but not much we can do otherwise since my whole fam is allergic to any kind of smoke.

That was...not fun.
i've had bad allergies since April but it got a lot worse with fires.

I don't go outside..but i miss going outside...despite i have nowhere to go...or sit lmao.
my house feels just...so stuffy.

im so done with them.
The smoke is constantly acting up my allergies and overall been making me feel
very sick overall.
I also live in CO. can't tell you where cause i suck at directions. :vanora_sweat:
I don't think im anywhere near being evacuated or anything
but still it's not great since we get thick haze of smoke.

since my good friend has been the only one i've gotten commissioned by.
But i just need to do a good amount of art and better promoting my work.
I'm hoping the monthly challenge I plan to do will help.

cause my dad is jobless since pandemic.
So i've basically trying to keep us afloat in case we need anything like vitamins.

@Lina: so sorry did not see your post until now.
Some brands are not super expensive with jelly gouache.
Himi and Artxx are inexpensive and come with 18-24 colors.
Their only around $25-30 for them. Which is about the same price almost for Arteza's gouache.
and a lot less expensive than brands like Holbein.
tho i want holbein lol.
it would be sort of expensive for me since i rarely make income from my art :vanora_sweat:
one of my best friend's literally be my source of income lol.
so trying to not let her help me too much cause she's already done so much for me lol
