@xvz: yeah, i am pretty good at finding good references.
I watch a lot of Music videos of K-pop and they have tons of colorful and gorgeous scenes
so i just cannot stop saving images of them lol.
Yeah clouds are super hard. so that'll be hard. But once i get those down it's cloud paintings everyday lol.
Yeah artists make it look so easy. probably since they practiced them...a lot. XD

@xvz: Pinterest is where all my references are and where i find them.
Just all about using the right keywords. but sometimes i will just click one image
and scroll down to the related ones as they usually have good ones below it.
a lot of times i screen shot...Music videos lol.
Just whatever strikes me as inspiring.
though i have yet to color or paint any of the things i screen shot stuff from cause..perspective lol.
Yeah, just doing the mountains i was like "man this is so fun!" which i never had in art.
so it was nice to break away and just relax while painting something out of the ordinary for me.

@xvz: I have a ton of sub categories within my reference board.
Like poses which consists of random poses from full bodies to just hands.
and my other board is scenary like mountains, clouds, etc
and other is clothing so i have very many choices to choose from.
I will probably do another mountain one, and after that i will either try to do a plant type of study or cloud.
Clouds though are very difficult to paint.

So i don't often post of my work but i feel it was a good thing to post about.
Backstory: I don't paint. My brain had literally convinced me i couldn't no matter if i practiced.
So I spent a lot of time not doing it. Until like...2 days ago.
I just got fed up with myself and how i just wouldn't study so i just grabbed a simple pic i could find
of a landscape since people at the time seemed...very daunting.
I'm still not fully done with it obviously, but as a starting point i feel very proud of it.

so im just like "NO MORE DISTRACTIONS. STUDY!"
Business cards are so nice. i eventually wanted to make post cards or stickers for my patreon
and add my business card in them. cause it sounds so nice.
and also...get my own customizable stamp...with a bat on it lol.

Though there is some stuff that hasn't improved too much so then i focus on improving that part of my art.
for example...shading. i never shade the clothes in my work so then my work sometimes feel..."meh"
so that is something i need to work on.

Hm..i'm not sure as there is a lot to work on. But breaking down hands into better shapes for sure
because hands really stop me from finishing art a lot of times.
and i feel doing different poses with hands could really make my art look...a lot better.
After that will probably be coloring. so shading of clothes, painting hair/skin, etc.

@xvz: part of me feels like i've barely worked hard and now i feel ready enough
to just dive into the books of hard work lol.
though i do art practically...everyday.
sometimes i'll take a day or 2 to just rest but usually every single day i work on art.
mostly i expand working on one piece over the course of a few days that way
i don't put strain on my wrist or body and won't in a sense time crunch for like 8 hours on one thing.

@Hachi: For real! im planning to make my 2021 resolution to dedicate myself
more to studying art. Not just drawing to draw, but to really study, study my own work as well
and overall work on improving myself and my art.
I'm so excited to incorporate the things i learn into my work. I have so many ideas.
For real! my sister luckily would love to help me, so i'll have a helper at least when the time comes
to make merch, and prints. I mostly cannot wait to design my business cards as i have a vague idea what to do.

i also do not like clique-y stuff with avatar sites.
mostly why i just make my own hangouts.
but overall im bad at socializing cause i got that social anxiety.

very creative as of late with avatars. :vanora_sweat:
Yup. Cause during pinktober i just noticed my comfort zone and i just
did not want to continue doing the same things as then i wouldn't improve the things i needed to get better at.

i normally keep the same avatar for 2-5 months as i am not particularly active.
yeah i thought it would be a neat idea.
as i never had drawn plants and i usually look at my feed to see the least used theme/color.

haven't bough new items in forever.
An artist i watch was showing us some plants she has in these little glass looking bottles on her stream
and i thought it was a good idea to have a person in it with some plants/blossoms.
I'm not very well known plant person so i have no idea what it's called. :vanora_sweat:
but also saw some ideas on pinterest as well.

@xvz: This one i had started before the prompt so it took me
about 6 ish days to finish. But i overall liked how it came out.
@Alicethemadhatter: I am good, slowly posting around
to get the rest of the items.
@Hachi: Normally i do some simple backgrounds
but i feel i could push it a lot further. So backgrounds and painting in general i want to improve on.

but that stressed me out so i just chose colors i thought looked pleasing together.
For real, it really is. my main goal for art is to make merch and stickers people would want.
