Posted in Lock please Posted 8 years ago
@Yuracye: Yeah but I am just going to follow the tutorial and just
see what works for me.
I have quite a few tutorials I've hoarded.

@AelloTyphoeus: Good idea x3
and yeah that is true. for now I shall just do other art projects
that need finishing and see if anything comes to mind.
@AelloTyphoeus: Yeah. plus with colors sometimes you can't actually tell
what areas needs more contrast
@AelloTyphoeus: I've done recolors for cae[until i dropped as that job]
and i recolor for voltra.
though i feel it's easier to to grayscale and then recolor.
//shrugs

though i think doing grayscale makes it easier to see contrast.
but maybe that is just me.

@AelloTyphoeus: tht would look cute for avi's on here.
though not for my mushroom fairy.
would look out of place to me.

@Yuracye: Sort of.
not sure if it'll work though lol.
I'm bad at learning new stuff.

@aellotyphoeus: Yeah that is true.
@AelloTyphoeus: Ah okay.
I rather just use greyscale first and then recolor.
@AelloTyphoeus: you mean grayscale?
gray scale helps you see what needs more contrast/lighting.
Like I know to fill out the base of the clothing by pixel.
but after that I am just like "What do I do now??"

A friend linked a tutorial video on cae. but it still confuses me haha.
Like i get it but i also don't??

@AelloTyphoeus: True but i don't think people are really going to enjoy seeing half finished art pieces. :vanora_sweat:

@AelloTyphoeus: Lol it's okay.
A lot of people suggest that though and I am like "I WANNA BE DIFFERENT."
i just like to be very out there.
though my original ideas was to have vines on arms and legs with roses on them.
rose are hard to draw though. D:

Yeah same.
The most I feel the sweet cakes would be worth is 6k.
Not 12-14k+

I mean the site has only been in beta for 8 DAYS.
@AelloTyphoeus: yeah basically.
I just am a little lost what to do first.
so am just looking up coloring tutorials.
I have a bunch on my faves on DA.
