@Amber Lynne: it is! I tried using it but it's a challenging color because you don't know wher the hue shift will land.

@Kairie: Lol! Makeup can be fun. And it doesn't always have to be caked on like you see on instagram and whatnot. And if all else fails, fun gifts for those you know who may love them. ^w^

@Kairie: Yeeeeh! Lol. I followed her when i was younger to learn how to makeup. And tbh I am happy to see makeup brands because you never know. Your favorite thing can show up randomly and yeah. xD
(totally not contemplating a PO box just to do ipsy trades. lmao) But realistically, i may not use it for my face but maybe I could use it on my hands, and it'd help with my dry skin there. =P

@Amber Lynne: Yeah... Let me see... I don't think they are the same as duochrome because those actually have shimmer.
I have this one on a sample swatch sheet (so I can play with some colors) and it actually shows up like this but it's matte. It's so cool. xD Idk what I'd ever use it in but... Maybe I will google ways to use it and see.

@Kairie: Ehhh... I think the thing to remember is ipsy is a company headed by Michelle Phan, and she's a makeup guru and also runs em cosmetics so there's always going to be makeup in it. I am just rolling with it and seeing, hm... maybe it'll get better. xD
Ehh... I don't like scrubs. they are known to cause micro-abrasions on the skin which can actually cause more breakouts so... If I could trade you I would. xD

I also just like that a lot of pigments used in DS are adapted from pigments used in car paints so some are literally one color wet then multicolor dry. And it's so cool. 8D
Meanwhile my wishlist on amazon is a lot of different art supplies plus some cute stationery. xD

@Amber Lynne: But you honestly just can't buy every paint out there. There are a lot of smaller brands up and coming, and even they have reviews. Nothing has absolutely 0 reviews. And personally, I'd rather put money where I know it won't go to waste. =\ Otherwise it's money that could have went to food, good supplies, my dog, clothes...

@Kairie: Well like, there is no saying no I found. Just an option for "rarely" which I think insinuates that there will always be 1-2 makeup items in the bag. Alas, I am no going to order 1 fab fit fun, and compare the two for this month. See which is the best. (if it ships to canada) I am mainly disappointed in the scrub. I don't like scrubs. Lol.

I got to admit, I got to see what is coming in my bag as a preview and I'm pretty okay with most of it. XD I did choose and add-on though because, I needed a well-rounded bag.

@Amber Lynne: Ehhh, i feel like trying all paints is pretty unrealistic. It'd be super expensive, and at the end of the day, if one just isn't good the cash is wasted... =P I tend to try things that have mostly good reviews, and avoid those that have terrible reviews. That way I'm not buying everything and end up with 0 monies.

@Amber Lynne: Yeah... I honestly thought it was all hype about them but I get it now. Lol. I am going to try other brands that are artist quality too but, fn, this is pretty fun and i love it.

@Amber Lynne: Also, these are literally the same color. The cotman I had to dig to get that level of saturation. I mean really moving my brush in the paint to get it to be saturated. the DS took me like, 2 swipes and that was it's level of saturation.
Awe darn... Well, it's all good. A local shop here sells them around the same price so I guess I shall buy them from there. xD
And yeah, that can be a bit of a bummer but, hey... maybe it's worth the wait.
