Local diners can be great, or awful. It seems to really depend if they care about being cheap or fresh more.
The one we went to was wonderful though. I got pancakes because diner pancakes are just the best kind!
My sister got a fancy grilled cheese that she said was great and I stole some of her fries which were amazing!
And our friend got a burger that he thought was amazing. So I'd say they are a really good diner!


@Yandere: Stores reopened here in June. Masks are required in the state anytime you leave the house, and we are limiting how many people are allowed inside places, but it is open. So I've been back to work since June. We have shorter hours and lots of hand sanitizer. It's nice to be more back to normal though. I was going stir-crazy just being at home. And just this last week or so, restaurants have been allowed to open their indoor seating, with very limited capacity. They want people no where near each other. But I do feel bad for restaurants that don't get a lot of take-out orders because they must be suffering.

I love seeing dogs happy. It makes me happy. ^^
I don't have beach gear either, but I still just like sand I guess. XD

If I drive into the city I can go to Lake Michigan in Chicago, but those beaches are very crowded and kinda dirty from so many people.
In one of the suburbs they turned an old quarry into a beach. It's basically a giant cement pool, that's shallow on one side and gradually gets deeper, all the way to 11 feet. And they filled the bottom with sand and added a huge sand beach along the 'coast'. It's not natural water, it's chlorine water. But it's clean and not too crowded, so that's where I go when I can.

I went out to lunch yesterday, to a little local diner by my friend’s place. They’re just asking people to call ahead and closing 2 tables in between the open ones so no one is close to each other.

@Yandere: I’m good. During the 2 months everything was closed here and I wasn’t working, I totally did nothing but watch tv and play animal crossing. I didn’t even log online. >.<
Life is almost normal again though, and I feel less blah. XD

In your inventory right above your avatar are just little words that say “view outfits” and that opens the outfit menu.
I couldn’t find it at first either, but I think in the announcement someone said. Or I asked. I don’t know....

When I’m bored I just make avatars. Sometimes I never wear them.

I already have my closet full. I filled it the first day and I keep replacing them as soon as I change... >.<

I wear leggings and skinny jeans almost every day.
It's been too hot lately so I've been doing shorts, but I only own one pair.
Or I'll roll up my jeans so they're shorter.

I like my avatar now, but I imagine I'll want to change to support my team at some point.
I wanted to make sure I have enough that matches though. XD

I got distracted trying to see if I had items to match the Team Sound set for the event. XD
