@Qiqi Agatha: I'm mostly doing alright. Last year was pretty tough for me, both of my grandmothers died, which were a first serious losses in my life. I moved to a new state with my sister because she's getting a divorce and wanted a fresh start; but also the 'one that got away' guy that's she's known most of her life lives here... I feel a little like, dont you want some time being single before jumping into a serious relationship? But apparently no..

But the move has been hard. I managed to find a job I really like, but it's been a lot more hours than I originally agreed to, which is a lot more stree than I would like. On the other hand, they want to promote me to manager and I feel like at some point I should actually be a adult and be responsible, but I would rather not..

I don't have any friends here, and my sister used to be my best friend and who I spent all my time with; but now she doesn't seem to have any time for me, even though she dragged me across the country with her.

But it's not all bad! I've been working on starting a streaming channel for some time now. I manage to do a lot of actual streaming time even though I have depression, so I'm really proud of myself for trying something so hard! I only have a few followers and average like 1/4th of a person each stream, but at least I'm not giving up!

I've been doing some crafting lately, but I haven't really done much art since I left the site. I used to do avatar art fairly regularly.

Anyway, I guess I was looking to chat with people. Hopefully about happy things to cheer me up a little, but also just to have people in my life again. ^^

It can be a lot of fun to play old games from when we were younger. I played Neopets when Inwas really young. I remember one of my pets getting sick and crying, and my mom told me not to play anymore because I was taking it too seriously. lol

@Qiqi Agatha: hey there! I remember seeing you around sometimes! Didn't you always have interesting fonts?

I heard around that Neopets kinda died after flash stopped being supported on web browsers since most of the site was flash based. But I haven't been there in ages. I was never really on the forums there, so I never really made any friends.

I was never as into the pets as the talking and making friends, personally.
And role-play for a while there lol

Just was reminded yesterday that if you go to someone's profile, under their avatar is a list of what items they're wearing.

Obviously we don't have item making here, but if any of them like avatar forums send them this way. lol
We've gotten a little slow recently..

I was looking around yesterday and it looks like a lot of places have closed recently. Caedon seems to be closed too. Such a shame.
Solia Online seems to still exist, except none of the buttons work? So weird.

My old favorite was Syndrone, but they shut down like 6 or 7 years ago. Such a cool community there though.

If you're interested in making clothes I remember it being fun on there.
I also made clothes for Virtual Popstar a few years back, but I remember it being a very elitist group that didn't really want new people coming in and making items. It wasn't a welcoming community over there in my experience.

If you practice making items enough you can start making them for sites like this one eventually. I designed a few items on bere before I moved to the writing team. But that was in the first year of the site, I'm not on staff anymore. Still, if you keep practicing you'll find a lot of opportunities out there!

On the first page you mentioned crafts, I'm a big crafter myself. I do crochet, latch hook, cross stitch, weaving, sometimes jewelry... probably more lol

I used to draw a lot, especially avatar art, but it's been a few years.

I don't know if it's still an active game, but years ago I made and sold clothes on IMVU, and you could also sell in game currency for real world money within the game. No idea if that's still allowed, but I made real and in game money at the time.
There were ways to do just the art but also ways to do 3d modeling and creating brand nee items as well. It's pretty advanced though.
