Julia smiled and took the papers from him. "Ooooh!! This I was actually able to do!" She said, leaning forward to show him. She explained to him what it was that he goofed on and how to fix things,"So if you do that, you get this instead, meaning you take this, add it to that, and then divide." She looked up at him,"Is any of this helping you at all?" She asked, hoping she hadn't lost him as the tried to explain things.

A Few Months Go By....
Aria was excelling in her classes and she was actually enjoying them. She found out a lot of interesting things she had never known before while having these lessons. She didn't know, but her teachers would brag about her and it seemed she was well on her way to becoming a proper lady.
One morning, as she woke up, she realized today was her first free day since she started her lessons.
She was hoping to be able to see Lyle for a little while today. Lately, she had only seen him around meal times and in the evenings where they were able to read for an hour or two before bed.

Julia smiled and nodded,"They do." She said,"And they were actually a bit surprised. But they seemed rather happy about it, to be honest." She frowned when he mentioned Birch not liking Sophie,"I hope they learn to get along in time." She said softly,"I hate the idea of them fighting later on." She leaned over and picked up the sleeping kitten, gently stowing her back in her pet carrier carefully, as not to wake her up. When he mentioned their summer homework, she nodded,"I finished it before we left for the trip." She said with a smile.

Aria smiled and watched him go quietly before going inside her room and closing the door behind her. After stifling another yawn, she walked over to her bed, gently pulled the blankets down and crawled in, letting out a soft sigh as she snuggled into bed. She let out a yawn, closed her eyes, and quickly fell asleep, worn out from the excitement of the day.

Aria nodded,"We will see." She said softly. When they got to her room, she hugged him gently,"See you tomorrow." She said, kissing his cheek,"I love you." She couldn't hold back from holding back a soft yawn. She could also see that he was tired as well,"Sleep well and sweet dreams." She smiled sleepily.

Aria smiled and nodded, following him inside his room. She sat down beside him and listened to him as he read. After a while, she leaned against him gently, listening quietly. She had so many memories of them reading this book together.

Aria was startled when she literally bumped into Lyle. She smiled,"I love it very much." She said when he asked about the room,"But I already promised to read with you this evening, so going to bed can wait for a little while." When he had mentioned the book in her hands she smiled and nodded, handing it to him,"I thought this one would be a good one to do this evening." She said with a smile.

Aria smiled and followed along behind the Queen. She let out a soft gasp of amazement when she saw the beautiful room that would now become hers. She listened to the Queen's words and thanked her before starting to put things away, hanging up the few dresses she owned and putting a few books on a large bookshelf in the room. She knew Lyle had many more, plus they could always go into town some day to get more.
After making sure she had all of her things put away, she went to go find Lyle. Before heading to his room,
she stopped at the large library to see if she could find anything new for them to read that evening. They had read most, if not all of the books there in the library in the few years she had been his maid. It was something that had brought them closer together. Aria nodded. She kissed his cheek and went to the maids quarters to change out of her dress and to put on another dress, a simple one for whatever. After changing, she started to pack up her few belongings, wondering where her new room would be.

Aria smiled and let him lead the way back inside. She looked over at Lyle and smiled,"Size 7." She said, looking down at her fingers,"I have skinny fingers." She giggled before leaning over and hugging him gently, "Well, since the party is over, I should go and change. I also should move my things from the maid's quarters since I won't be a maid anymore. After that, if you're not too tired, I can come sit with you and read for a while?"
