I love love LOVE Sawbones, also today explained which is by Vox, and I'm a bit coldcase/crime person... it is just really intriguing? So casefile true crime, dark poutine, today in true crime, wine and crime, and more.

ALSO I started listening to "The Two Princes" lately and it is so good... so well voiced and an easy to follow storyline... it is by Gimlet and I cannot recommend this one enough and I'm not even done with it yet!

I have been thinking a lot about what to do to distract myself from all the invasive thoughts that bring me down. In the past I have tried a lot of things and I really want to pick something back up.

My list includes painting, drawing, writing, poetry, calligraphy, needle felting, cross-stitching, but I want to pick just one of those to focus on. Pretty much have my heart set on starting to do needle felting again~ It was a lot of work and a lot of shoving a very very VERY pointy felting needle into your fingers on accident, but it is so neat seeing what kind of creations you can make <3

What hobbies do you have that you want to continue or what is one you haven't done for a long time and want to start up again?

@Jolly: I think it is really important to have fears, it gives you something to strive for, something you want to overcome. It allows you to have goals and when you work through your fears, take those steps, no matter how small they are, gosh, doesn't it feel great?

It is okay to have a fear of driving! Just like it is okay to be afraid of the dark (which is my biggest fear). Everyone has valid reasons. Also going off of your senses and intuition is BIG, never stop listening to your own thoughts! <3

I feel like there is so much going on in life right now. Two weeks ago, I got out of a six year relationship, my job has been so busy with paperwork upon paperwork (I am a special education teacher, which means working on big legal documents all the time), trying to find an apartment because I do not have a permanent residence right now. This is all more than a person my age should deal with all at once. I have finished all my major yearly meetings for my caseload students but now all of the parents are coming after me it seems because I cannot do their children any justice. It isn't all my fault, we simply cannot provide everything the parents want, but it feels like I have to take all of the bullets they shoot my way because I can't dodge them.

There is a positive, I have possibly found a place where I can live from the end of February to the beginning of August at a very affordable price. The timeline is great because I can move in with my best friend come August then. I am touring Wednesday and if I can sign for the sublet there and then, I move in the week after. This also means I can finally adopt a cat too. I am adopting a cat to sort of fill the void of not having a significant other... the last time I was single was about ten years ago...

I hope things get better... We aren't even a month and a half into the year... Please let it go uphill, I will do my best to make sure it does, but whatever forces that be need to help me out a little too...

Oh gosh I vanished forever but now I'm kinda back! Gave my lil avatar Kai a makeover and she looks soooo cute. I'm kinda psyched about her current look.

Anyway, hello all. I'm still alive(?) Work as a teacher is just busy as heck... sure wish spring break would come sooner!
