@blue: Your art is absolutly amazing and i really love the layout of everything!
Id love to buy one, would my character Gwilym be alright? Preferbly without the mask
Also extra incase its not clear: His iris is black but his pupil is white. He has scales on his forehead. 2 scars on, his face, 1 one that goes troug his lip and the other goes right under. And then several scars on his tail, a big one more at the base, smaller ones more at the tip and one on the top itself (its suposed to be like a healed scar where a hook or piercing went in)... HOWEVER feel free to simplfy when needed!

@Q t e a p o n: ah i understand! It took me years b4 i started to play tbh.
My best friend really wanted to play and joined a group, ended up not liking the group at all and decided to DM instead.
She didnt have alot of experience but was determined. Imma be honest you can do all the research you want and watch other people play but youl only really start to get it once you start imo.
The group im in consists of another friend of mine and some people we found on dnd beyond and other avi sites. Also yes i say "we", dispite the DM normally being a "leader" of some sort she asked me to be "little boss" (My task is mainly discord related and i help with art when needed + ive got more experience leading in groups and not to tooth my own horn but im way more orgenized). So for me it was a bit easyer to settle in + somebody with alot more experience is in the group who loves to help out when needed.
Id try to see if a friend is intrested aswel as its always easyer to do something new with a trusted person.
Id also see how youd preffer to play, irl or online. Both have pros and cons. I personally have only played online so my experience is based on that.
If you want to play online the best method to find a group is looking on dnd beyond. Theres a forum where DMs can post that they seek players. Usually they also write what kind of style ect.
Irl i think its best to seek out fb groups of some kind like "dnd area you live in" or go to a game shop. Some host games others may know how or where to find them ect. You may also find a stand on a con and ask for more info.
A good thing to have is the players handbook... but its a lil expensive. It does go in depth of the basic races and classes, explains alot of other stuff too. I personally have a physical copy (it looks awsome) but i know theres a pdf copy aswel.
A youtuber i find verry helpful is Ginny Di
She talks alot about characters, what to do, roleplay ect

Washi tape, got like 200 difr designs. I just love em so much aaaa
Also markers, i got a box full of em + the ones on my desk i got a lil display with my more expensive markers. I used to mainly draw with them but its been quite a long time now since ive touched them... digital is just easeyr bc all you need is a tablet no need to clean up ur desk after lol

the last movie i watched was harry potter deathly hallows part 1
6.5/10 its not my favorite, i liked it much better when they were all just in school learning how to ride a broom ect
But im "binge" watching it welp (i watch like 1 movie a day lol, + some movies i watch in multiple parts bc otherwise i cant keep focusing on it)
