@Unicorn: Aw, jealous. I crave motherhood in an almost creepy fashion. I'm far too old to wait to have enough money to raise a child, darnit.

*grabs a broom and starts sweeping up* That was fantastic, and I only caught the resolution. You guys are all awesome <3

@Unicorn: I'm always falling asleep. Horray! Ha, I'm good. Awake at 3am which is like sleeping in for my narcoleptic arse. Got yet another job interview today because the economy is doing SO WELL. Any big plans for your day or is sleep the highlight of your agenda?

@Unicorn: Good morning! You're name is of my favorite species, the mighty corn. Hows your AM going?
Posted in Anxiety: A Rant Posted 6 years ago
I actually am probably guilty of this, because I have had HORRIBLE CRIPPLING ANXIETY most of my life and I found good coping mechanisms. I usually try to phrase it as "____ worked for me, maybe you should try it out" but I realize everyone is not the same, so I do hope my advice never sounds like I'm the girl with no problems trying to tell others how to handle theirs. A lot of the time it takes a delicate combination of solutions, because anxiety comes in all shapes and sizes, and can be influenced by so many factors.

Then by all means look that up and laugh at 3am with me. Unless you find it offensive, in which case I humbly apologize. I have no filter at this time of day.

@Emmett Khan: I'ts from the movie how high. A quick google search of baby powder slap also yielded pleasant results. WAIT HOW OLD ARE YOU? Parental discretion advised, yo ;)
Posted in Old Anime! Posted 6 years ago
Anime is a weird subject for me. I love the darker, grittier ones but all I can find (with my very limited amount of searching) is very girly and candy coated... which is fun in its own right, but doesn't really hook my attention. I loved Parasyte, but that was made recently from what I can tell....

So this one might be a bit out there, but I was in love with everything on MTV's liquid television growing up. I was way too young to be watching that... but particularly aeon flux was my favorite. Does American anime even count? I don't care! That art style is everything to me <3

@Emmett Khan: I was a joke, based on a movie I'm now realizing only "people my age" might have seen XD and it might even be funnier if I don't explain it! Just know no hard feelings were meant :p

@Emmett Khan: are you going to slap me with baby powder if you don't get your money?
Posted in Woah, that just happened! Posted 6 years ago
@nyreen: that's pretty spectacular. I have a friend who photographs shows and as far as I know nothing like thins has happened for him. Way to take charge!

@Panda: Thank you! I'm so glad I didn't completely miss this event haha it looks like it was much fun.

@Juneberry: I do mixed media all the time. I prefer it. My favorite technique right now is doing layers with tissue paper. I'll chunk in some shadows/lineart, glue on a layer of tissue paper, do some marker details, add another layer and paint, add another layer and start all over because I hate it lol
Posted in Huzzah! Posted 6 years ago
@Juneberry: Traditional medium is anything not done with technology like computers and what have you, so it is a broad spectrum indeed. But I do computer art too, so... No limits! Here this might help you see what I usually do better than if I try to explain it (keep in mid these accounts are about 10 years old at least and I never update them <3): https://morganne.deviantart.com/ https://glumentia.deviantart.com/

I really don't know how to explain the rainbow serpent because that story is a roller-coaster ride. As are all mythologies I suppose, but... I read about it when I was binge reading all sorts of stuff and my recollection of it is fuzzy at best :D
