That teabun is so cute D:
Ah, thank you! I really like your avatar. ^^

IDK stale ale or something.
Imagine if the approach to inappropriate touching in a strip joint was to spray the customers with a water spritzer. :bernard_happy:

I try to avoid Primark. I'm always tempted by the cute stuff at cheap prices, but it ends up being awful quality and I always regret. </3
Last year I went to a proper party and I was the fat kid from Up, but this year I think its just a couple of club nights I'll be going to. Sooo I dunno if I can be bothered with an entire outfit. It's likely I'm just gonna stick a pair of cat ears on and call it a day

I think its less the brightness I have an issue with, but rather the large block of the same colour. It'd be nice to have some other colours to break up the huge spaces of white.

It's sorta blinding to look at. IDK if this was implemented with the new layout design or if plans are being made to add a background to the forums, but I think it'd be a little easier on the eye if at the very least, the white spaces to the sides of the forums and threads (potentially also between posts within threads themselves) were either a solid colour, patterned or featuring artwork.

Edit: Just to add, my issue is not so much with the brightness as it is with the amount of white/one solid colour - like once you've scrolled down past the upper header, the forums and posts are incredibly plain to look at.

I also think it's kinda weird that you can see that bar beneath the avatars (and a little above/just below the username) still? The bar is clearly white, whilst the background is an off-white, and it looks pretty peculiar. I wouldn't mind seeing the entire avatar background completely white, as at least then there would be some distinction between the avatar and the rest of the thread.

I think the trouble with taking their time is that people are gonna wander off and get bored, and are much less likely to return because they wont be as invested in the site as someone who has stayed around. That being said, I would rather something take longer but be more polished than having a load of rushed half finished features.

Panda: I think there are gonna be some cool text based adventures as part of it, so possible there would be things to do beside pets, but I can understand why that wouldn't be everyones cup of tea. Personally, I'm pretty excited about it. And the amount of funding they've received.. oh boy.

@Panda: It's cute that you're getting back in touch with people you haven't spoken to in years!
I think I'd be more inclined to chat if there were more things to do that didn't involve chatting.. as much of a contradiction that sounds. There's a new pet forum site up and coming and I'm pretty excited about that, because I know I can log on and just do pet related stuff and not have to chat to people if I don't feel like it. Here at Voltra chatting is all there is to do, so when I'm not in the mood to be social I have no reason to log on. I kinda think that the Sewers feature might help that though?

It feels kinda like the only reason I wanna post is to get Volts to buy items for cute outfits. I wish I had other motivators, like actually caring about talking to people, but I just don't. Maybe that sounds really harsh. D:

Edit:
I found a way to explain it better :p
It's kinda like when I was a teenager I had all the time in the world to sit around Gaia posting all day and loafing around, and now I'm older my time is much more limited and I have to be a lot more selective about how I spend it. So making small talk on internet forums is really not high on my priority list. If I wanna socialise on the internet I'll generally go to very specific forums that fit what I'm interested in chatting about, like anxiety or PTSD forums. I /want/ to enjoy avatar forums the same way I did when I was a kid, but I just can't experience them the same. :vanora_sick:

I find it kinda hard to make conversation with strangers that I don't have anything in common with. I gotta post more to find people I have stuff in common with.. but sometimes posting just feels like a chore and there really isn't that much else to be doing. :vanora_sweat:
