Noting the worried look on her face, Lyle felt terrible. Was he really such a bad person that the thought of being alone with him frightened her? He pulled her into a hug and held her, giving her a kiss on the cheek. "Do I really frighten you by wanting to be alone with you?" He asked her quietly. He hadn't meant to scare her so much, "I'm sorry."

Troy smiled having heard what Aria said. "Well I'm glad you both had fun." He said and opened the front door for them then stepped inside and moved so they could enter as well. He could hear the adults talking and laughing in the parlor room. It was nice to know that both families were getting along so well. Lyle looked at Aria then at Troy as they walked inside. Troy then closed the door behind them. "Troy, could you give me and Aria a few minutes. I sort of want to talk to her about something. It's a private matter." Lyle explained. Troy was surprised but smiled and nodded. "Of course. I'll be with the others, feel free to join us for drinks when you're ready." Troy said before excusing himself, leaving Lyle alone with Aria.

Lyle shut his eyes tightly as the strong wind blew. Maybe it was a good idea to go inside now before they got sick. "I believe you're right. Come on you two, let's head inside now. We can finish this at another day." Troy suggested and stood. Lyle placed one more brick on the wall carefully before standing and brushing off the snow from his knees and hands. Troy did the same and when the three were ready, they headed back to the house.

Troy smiled at what Aria said. It seemed true. Lyle was adding bricks to the wall of the fort. They could probably just watch him and have him build the entire thing on his own actually. "I think it was a good idea for you all to come here. A nice change of scenery will do you all some good and you're right, he seems to really be enjoying himself which is surprising but I'm glad to see it. I was afraid it wouldn't go so well, but he has loosened up, you're right about that." Troy replied, his voice quiet. Lyle glanced over at Aria and Troy, raising an eyebrow. "You both bored already?" He asked, picking up a brick and adding it to the large wall.

Kaneko couldn't help but chuckle lightly seeing the pout on his face. It was adorable. She really was enjoying spending time with him. "It was my pleasure, I'm happy that you enjoyed it. Perhaps next time I shall surprise you with dessert." She hinted. His lips on her forehead caused her cheeks to go bright red. He had just kissed her forehead! Her heart fluttered in her chest, the butterflies emerged in her stomach and that warm fuzzy feeling was back. She was giving him a shy smile now, not that he could see it. She was nervous, what did that mean? Did he like her? Even though he didn't know what she looked like? "N-no...it's alright Allen." She shook her head quickly. She couldn't deny that she didn't mind it at all. "You didn't make me uncomfortable. I can't lie though, it was surprising but...it was a nice surprise."

He was clearly flustered by what he had done. She could understand, he probably was afraid of ruining the friendship they had. Kaneko quietly followed after him, making sure she hadn't forgotten anything. Stepping out the front door she waited for him. "I may not be able to visit tomorrow. I work that day and I do not know what time I will be out. H-however, I promise to visit you whenever I have a day off. A-and we could always meet up at the park sometimes too. I mean, if you wish to." She would have asked him to visit her at work sometime but he didn't even know where she worked or how to even get there.

And she didn't want him to get lost. Besides, he probably wouldn't feel comfortable in there. They were similar after all, they both enjoyed some peace and quiet. Her workplace was the opposite. People were always chatting away. You were lucky if you didn't get a headache.
