But i think one of the most important part is to get clean lines.
One wouldnt think lines are important on so small things, but one pixel off will do a lot lol

the flat style i have in my signature is a lot easier tho, its kinda vector art but in pixels lol
simple shading and such, so you should check different styles and see what kind you want to do!
