@sirlionelnigelconrad: I remember reading about that one and other things like it. There's some decent evidence to suggest this kind of shit actually happens, so it's easily one of the most realistic conspiracies I've found. It's pretty much known at this point that our global elite buy kids. But I'm starting to fear those who partake in it may never actually be caught. Thanks though, good suggestion. I don't hear that one mentioned much anymore.

@aellotyphoeus: I have two children from a previous relationship whose father is not present in their lives. My kids call both of my boyfriends different variations of dad. They're young, but they understand enough to know that I have more than one partner and we all love them. We split parenting responsibilities pretty evenly as well.
@sulley: Like I said, not for everyone but poly relationships can be quite harmonious if everyone involved has mutual love and respect. Even we had a little bit of jealousy in the beginning. But we worked past it. I think regardless of how a relationship starts and who's in it, what matters is the love. Any type of relationship can last if you are fully committed to keeping it. And thank you. I love that the people I've met on this site are so open and accepting. Makes me feel like I can truly be honest and be myself. :)
Posted in Spiders Posted 7 years ago
Everyone I meet is terrified of spiders, but I quite like them. I even find some of them cute or pretty and will watch them build their webs and catch food. It astounds me how something so small could be so intelligent. Because of my fascination, I don't kill spiders. I leave them in my home, unless they are venomous or bothersome, then I catch and release them. I've even been bitten a couple times, one time giving me a seriously infected hole in my hand and it still hasn't made me afraid of them, just made me respect their space. Makes me wonder if there's something wrong with me, for not having this almost instinctual fear of them, like most everyone else. What do you think of spiders? :vanora_xd:

I like your thoughts on that. :) and to be honest, I always had ideas of this find of relationship, but never thought it would be possible because of either my, or another person's jealousy. I was just lucky enough to find just the right people. It's hard to seriously date if you're poly and I see a lot of people who live this lifestyle basically just whore it up, because it isn't typically an environment that breeds lasting relationships. It all depends on the people. Most poly relationships are between a man and two or more women. Which I don't think I could ever do. I like girls occasionally, but I don't typically like dating them. I guess my relationship is more rare, maybe because guys are less likely to share or something, I dunno. I feel like most people would try it if the conditions are perfect, but that's just not realistic. Even though the emotional/physical side of my relationship is great we still deal with a lot of external shit from our families as well as complete strangers. We've kinda learned to keep our business to ourselves. Small town, you know... :vanora_sweat:

Omg yassss. I read the book and immediately fell in love with the story, so amazing. I heard it took so long because they had to get the copy rights to ALL those pop culture references throughout the book. So I'm glad to see they're doing it right. The trailer had the iron giant in it lol, so yeah I'm excited.
Also, I have been obsessed with slenderman for a while. I've basically lived on the internet since I was a preteen. The story, although fictitious, has always fascinated me. :vanora_heart:

@elithiya: it's the only movie I've seen in recent years that I considered asking for my money back. It was that bad. Like, might as well just take a shit in my eyes and ears bad. :vanora_xd: like so bad, we couldn't even make fun of it, it made fun of itself. Ok I'll stop lol
And yes, Guardians! Love it so much. Doctor Strange was also fantastic and of course Deadpool. :vanora_heart:
Ahhh I'm getting so excited for Infinity Wars!

@opaldeerling: I hear ya. I have dreams like that every now and again. I don't really have nightmares anymore, every once in a while though. Sometimes you just get dreams that have no real rhyme or reason, but something in your subconscious is making that shit happen. The human mind is a strange thing.

So excited to see what they come up with in the next few months. Probably gonna start hoarding gold and donate every month as well. I love collecting items. I used to have a hoard on Ernya worth several million just because I'm a hoarder lol. I love the donation items, however I wish you could change the color. :vanora_sweat:

Just gonna go ahead and toss this out there...
Anyone in a non-traditional relationship? Like, for example, I am in a polyamorous relationship, meaning I have two boyfriends and we're all kinda dating eachother. We have pretty harmonious relationship and all deeply love one another. I guess, for people who are familiar with polyamory, my situation is an ideal one. To people who don't understand, we seem nuts. It's been especially hard with certain members of my family, but my friends are generally accepting, some even supportive. People have stopped giving me grief about it so much, because they see its been nearly a year and I haven't changed my mind. Around here it isn't that common and it took me a while to find another person who was living a polyamorous lifestyle. I guess to a lot of people it seems weird, but too me it's the most comfortable I've ever felt in a relationship.
So discuss - What's your take on polyamory or other forms of non-traditional relationships? Would you ever try it? Is there anything you'd like to know? Have you ever faced prejudice for the way you live or things beyond your control? What's your relationship like, what makes it special to you?

Just wondering, what movies has everyone seen lately? Would you recommend them?
I've recently seen good and bad movies. A good one was Spider-Man Homecoming. I may biased as a huge fan of anything Marvel, but it was my favorite Spider-Man movie thus far. An example of a bad movie would be Valerian. The plot was incoherent, the romance forced and the story dull. Not at all what I expected and after about 45 minutes I wanted to leave. Stuck it out til the end to see if it got better, spoiler alert, it just gets worse lol. I'd be happy to talk about it more, or just talk about movies in general, so let's go. :vanora_sun:
My young male cat (who isn't fixed) was trying to get nasty with my fixed adult female cat. He is a lot smaller than her, so he inevitably gets his ass kicked. They make a lot of noise though and it's super annoying. The don't really hurt eachother though, thankfully. :vanora_sweat:
