He rubbed the bridge of his nose a bit, frustrated. Someone had changed who she was without her consent.. And he wasn’t sure what kind of effect having time lord genes in her now would have on her body..

“I’m glad you’re both safe now.” He said gently, leading her to the couch to sit and wait for the others.

“Send that to Jack...” he said softly, frowning. He hoped none of that information was floating anywhere else..

He blinked, a bit surprised at the hug but returned it. “Have you figured out what took you there?”

“What...?” He moved over to the screen, frowning.

“I’m sure we have one lying around somewhere.” He said gently. “Do you want us to come up with a.. back up system in case she’s ever in a position again? Maybe there’s a way to add something to her filter..”

He set her down on the bench and got them into space for safety.

He nodded a bit, “Why didn’t she contact us?” He asked curiously, softly.

He just stared at the machine darkly as it sparked and smoked. Bastards. He carried her off now, knowing the Atraxi had them.

Thankfully the TARDIS had parked herself nearby for him, and he stepped inside so she could run tests..

“Are you sure you guys are ok?” Jack asked once the Arty was out of earshot.

He scooped her up carefully, moving back into the room. With his screwdriver still in his hand and set the settings to read what they were doing, sending the info to the TARDIS. With a quick change of settings he then destroyed the machinery.

Arty smiled a little, “Sure.”

Jack moved to take the presents and set them under the tree so Arty could go make cookies.

“Don’t move. Don’t bother. They will find you no matter what.” He said menacingly, moving into the other room to get Trin.

Jack blinked a few times, smiling softly. “I don’t see why not..?” He glanced to Trin.
