He focused on not blushing, squeezing her hand softly and working on his meal with the rest of them.

She went red but moved to one side of the bed. There was a futon in this particular spare bedroom, in case there happened to be more than one guest who didn’t share the same bed.

Arty looked over at the futon. “I could sleep on the couch if you’d like the bed.” She said softly, still red. She knew the Doctor didn’t sleep much, if at all.. but wanted her to be comfortable anyway..

He smiled gently, glad she was handling it well.. but still.. it had been done without her consent. He took a chip to munch on. “It definitely is.”

She went redder and just gently held on, looking away shyly. “Thank you..”

He thought about it, blinking a few times. “I actually don’t know..” he hadn’t regenerated into a girl.. and it wasn’t something he remembered discussing ages ago..

She went a deep shade of red, “I- okay.. But I can walk..” she mumbled.

He smiled softly, “We also don’t get sick too often.”

After Christopher had opened all his presents and had time to play with them, Jack helped him get to bed.

Arty hid a yawn shyly, still a bit tired.

Ianto was busy cleaning up and making sure Jessica’s family didn’t need help.

“Probably, yes.” He said warmly, “And just in general cold planets.”

“I’ll go get the room set up.” Ianto said softly, moving to do so.

Jack smiled gently, “it’ll be a nice full house tonight.”

The Doctor looked over to her and smiled softly, “Time lords heal a bit quicker than humans- we also have two hearts.. and don’t get cold as quick..” what else could he tell her..

“You can park the TARDIS onside if it’s more comfortable for the both of you.” He said softly and looked to Jessica, “Will you two be staying with us as well?” He asked softly.

He nodded, “The tardis did a few scans on her and so far so good..” he said softly. “But that would be good to keep an eye on..”

Ianto set the bag he had for the trash to the side for now, since he was having fun trying to save the paper.

Jack glanced over at Arty who was watching Christopher curiously. He glanced briefly at the Doctor with a soft smile. He and Trin had arranged for “Santa” to bring Arty gifts under the tree too. “Will you two be staying in the spare room tonight?” He kinda hoped they would- he was sure Christopher would love to wake up and get Arty up too for the fun in the morning.
