Desiree was silent before sighing.
"He ran." She told him honestly.
'I... I don't know ifhe's much of a risk..."

Desiree was silent for a moment.
"I..." She started.
"I don't know." She then said.
"I can't... I mean... I can't stay there..." She told him, biting her lip slightly.
"But I'm locked into a lease. He knows I'm there, Jaden..."

Desiree was completely silent for a moment before what she saw registered.
"I..." She started before sighing.
'Just... just set them aside..." She then said, her voice quiet, almost scared. At the same time t hough, not. She didn't sound scared exactly. Sure, there was a hint of it to her voice, but that was it. just a hint.

Desiree was completely silent. After what seemed like forever, although it was only a few minutes, she fully woke.
And she reacted in absolute fear.
She tried to get out of the bed,j not realizing where she was.
Then again, look at how she'd ended up there.
The last thing she remembered was her brother.

Jaden was there for awhile, never leaving. Rene had come in and checked on her a few times, and him as well, and it was just after he'd convinced Jaden to finally head home to sleep for a bit, or at leasst to bathe. After he'd agreed, Rene had left to leave him to do his own thing. Jaden had been about to leave, when he heard Desiree stir.
"Nnng..." It was barely audible.

Kalin just sighed.
"Honestly, that doesn't surprise me." She commented.
"It seems that he's really taken a liking to the girl." She added after a moment.
"Which is rather surprising. I haven't seen him really fall for anyone quite as he has fallen for Desiree." She added after a moment.

"And here's hoping there isn't any serious damage to her when she does." She added

Averie nodded.
"Of course." She said with a soft smile.
"I will speak with you later." She added.
"Yeah. Thanks again, and see ya." Kalin said before waving and looking toward Rene.
"Shall we?"

Kalin nodded.
"You do that. I'm going to go speak to Vincent. Maybe he can offer some insight on where the bastard could be hiding." Kalin commented before sighing.
"Not that I really think he'll be able to, but maybe."
"Good luck... and don't tell me if you find him. I'd rather not know." Averie then said quietly, to make sure she wasn't overheard.

Kalin nodded.
"That's... about the gist of it. Nothing we can say or do otherwise." She said with a soft sigh.
"Anyway, is that everything?" Averie asked, her voice curious as Kalin handed the information to the woman.
"No, I think that's everything." Kalin said.

"Here's hping." She then said.
"If only just because that it would mean that he will survive. I do suspect you would... go quite a bit farther than I would." She added before Kalin sighed.
"I ... never knew that he wasn't a druggie." Kalin then commented after a moment.
"I had always believed that he was one tha twould be hopped up on anything and everything. If only just because of the believe that there's no way that he could want to attack Desiree otherwise. The girl is far too sweet."
