And seriously? Your mum wouldn't allow that? Awww, damn. Got a friends mailbox you can use? I know that's common for people who have parents that won't let anything come to them.
Because sometimes gettin' something in the mail is just what you need. Lol

She was completely silent as she walked into the library, and remained so as she looked around. She hated it here, wanted to be outside instead. She was never fond of being stuck inside. She had to though, she was stuck there due to having to find some information. What made it worse, was the fact that they were told, explicitly, to not use the internet for it. Had to use physical media - books, magazines, etc.
Letting out a string of curses that no ten year old should ever know, under her breath to not be heard of course, she looked through one of the encyclopedias while sitting on the floor between the shelves. As she was sitting there though, she paused as she heard loud footsteps.
"Huh?" She looked around, not entirely sure what it was that was to come next, but also knowing that she had to actually find out. Her curiosity wouldn't let her rest otherwise, after all.
She closed the book, put it back where she'd found it, grabbed her bag and hoisted it over a shoulder, before heading off toward the door, wondering what she was hearing. Or rather, who. She just knew that there were panicked footsteps., and no, they weren't very quiet.

@RainbowPanda: Lol. To be perfectly honest, if you hang out here long enough, you'll open up. Look at me, when I first started on here I was a nobody. I never posted ANYWHERE. I never started convos, I never made a mark. I did. NOTHING.
LikeI was a nobody.
And now I'll actually post (Not always.... social anxiety suuuucks) but I'll post in places I've been in before and the like.
Keep chattin' with people, and it may be a small thing, but you'll feel better about it over time, I think~<3
Just may take awhile ^ ^
Also, if you wanted, we could always do a penpal thing =) Like snail mail variety.

But it really does suck that you are in that situation to begin with. I wish I could help more than just offer some words of encouragement. =(
The best I can suggest... really? Is just to turn around and show them you're worth it. Don't push it or anything, but...... just be who you want to be, and make sure that you are who you would be proud of. Chances are, they would be too. If they don't ever notice, then if you end up being successful in life... welp, that's their loss.

@Fozzy: You...... are aware that tattoos hurt a lot more, right?
I've both piercings and a tat, so ... yeah.
As long as you're going through flesh and NOT cartiledge, it's not bad. It's like getting a needle, but that's it. The pain doesn't last long either, and even then, it's a sting.
If you get a tattoo.... stay away from colouring something in. 'cause that hurts like a biiiiiiitch

Vyc's Modz has 'base' as an item. One in every colour that is on the site, so there are 35 of them.
I am 15 short. They cost 2k a piece.
pretty sure they are the priciest common on site, actually
