I am considering doing a few portraits for family, and when shopping for masking tape I decided to do two birds with one stone and get some washi tape. I can use it to decorate my sketchbook, and also use it to tape off my paintings.

Anyways, where is the best place to get washi tape?

Where do you guys shop for art supplies?

Is Jerry's or Dickblick worth it?

If there is a Daiso near you they have Washi tape.

@nut: Michael's does seem an ideal place to get washi tape, except that like, I want some with a color variety and it seems like all their sets are pretty like, color coordinated. ^^;

Barring my Various Ink Copic Refills. Gotta order those off Amazon.
(And barring stuff I get for Art testing vids. IE New watercolours that are cheap to try.)

@Amber Lynne: No, and I wanted a good one. Soending 894 on a cheap one for it to break in a couple months? Nope, I got a pricier gaming chair BUT it has 1 yr warranty on replaceable parts AND IT MUST SURVIVE THE YEAR!

@Amber Lynne: Yeah... I'd be irritated if (like with my huion) I got it and the coupon was making it cheaper than what I got it. xD And to think I was going to trya dn wait to order. (I only got it bc my metal chair is breaking down as we speak.)

I gotta replace my chair too, actually. One of the wheels literally popped off. As in where the wheel attaches.
So I have it superglued and taped in place. XD

@Amber Lynne: ok but fr, fr. That's what happened to my cheapo walmart chair. xD and idk what I did with the wheel. I got it like, last august, and the ,ain chair is literally tearing and breaking. And now I am in one of those metal folding chairs. Hurts my bum. But it's super old and bit are rusted so no the back is slowly coming off and I just... /.\ It'll take me a bit to pay down my CC because of this, but it is a need. I do homework, game, my art work, etc. All at my desk. Is a necessity.
