@ChiffonOrange: that’s ok. I just wanted to know how much I need to explain. So during events there is a new event currency you get from posting in the forums or playing jigsaw. (You still get volts from posting too)
With that currency you,can buy event items. That are only around until the end of the event. New items are added to the shop everyday.
Daily the staff will have a new event thread that will tell more of the story. There will be a daily challenge to do like a puzzle, word search, riddle etc.
there is also normally a event where even 50 pages or so we get a new pose or recollection for an evolving item. That’s not every event though. People tend to come out of hiding hand post a lot to the energy is nice.
Lots of users will host free art threads or giveaways and contests.

@Totalanimefan: Hmmm.... Sort of then again it's kinda hard to say that this is my first avatar site, although I kinda remember I had an account on Gaia when I was a preteen but I stopped using it since that site no longer interests me.
