"They will floudner like a fish out of water." Kalin commented.

b[]"But of course. Is there anything else you need of me right now? Or can I go eat lunch?"[/b] She asked after a moment, with a light chuckle.

"If you need me for anything, I have no problem with holding off though. I'm not super hungry."

Kalin, who was getting to her feet from where she had been sitting, just smirked.

"Told you it was airtight." She commented.

"Now, I doubt I could do that all the time, I'll admit that's a bit much, but I don't doubt this is only the beginning." She added.

"Alls well that ends well. Although we still don't know who the actual guilty party is."

Kalin just looked to the man and smiled.

"As for who it is that should have been in your position instead.... I may have an idea." She added before looking to Everett.

"I'm going to go chat with the authorities on that, if you don't need me for anything else for the moment?"

Kalin just chuckled lightly.

"You're quite welcome." She said simply.

"You deserved the verdict. No thanks are necessary for doing waht was right." She added with a smile before nodding.

"Anyhow, I need to go check in on things. I will see you later, Everett. Enjoy your freedom, now tha you have it." She said, addressing the client with that last bit, of course. There was sincerity to her words, and it was clear as day, as we ll

Kalin was silent for a moment before nodding and headeding off to do exactly as she said she would.

It was only a couple of months, bit Everett had another case that he wanted Kalin to step in on. She didn't know what the case was, yet, but she was asked to tep in. So she was waiting in the hall outside of his office so she could get the information, and either agree or not, to the case.

Kalin nodded as she took a seat.

"Oh?" She asked, her voice and expression curious as she acepted the file that he handed her.

"Assault, huh?" She asked as she looked it over. She didn't know what it was that was to be foundw ithin, but was definitely curious.

". . . sexual assault by a professor? That's..." She paused, looking to him.

"That really doesn't surprise me, actually." She admitted.

"Is there anythign that you know that isn't in this file?" She asked

Kalin nodded.

"I can definitely do so." She agreed.

"It doesn't bother me to take such a case. As you said, no personal bias." She then said.

"I shall head over to my little area and study up on this." She added. "If there is anything else, please let me know."

Kalin nodded.

"Yeah, I am looking to move." She answered.

"The search is still going pretty slowly, as I don't have much in terms of income that I use for that at the moment. I may be employed here, yes, but at the same time, saving in this world isn't the easiest. I don't have as large a bunch of money that I need. At least not yet. In time, I will." She added before pausing.

"Why do you ask?' She asked, her voice curious

Kalin just smiled softly.

"Ofc oruse." She then said.

"Farewell." Was the last that she said before leaving im alone, knowing that she had to go and look over that file. She had to make sure that she was well informed, after all.

The court date came, and Kalin was waiting for the arrival of the defendant. She had no idea where he was, but was sure he'd show up sooner rather than later.

She was sitting in one of the branches near the courtroom, waiting for him. She wanted to make sure that they were on the same page for everything.
