Eh. It's gonna be a longer shift than normal because we have an artist opening reception that I need to stay and clean up after, but if I can avoid my power tripping boss, it won't be too bad.

It's not too bad. I work at a very small museum, so cleanup is really just 2-3 trays of dishes, 5-ish bags of garbage, disassembling 2 tables, and a quick sweep.

Yeah. I am the custodian and I get almost zero respect, but the building is pretty cool.

I'm so used to it by now that everytime the boss tells me to do or not do something that she'll likely the next day complain that I did/didn't do, I always go to my supervisor and let them know so they can back me up. Not that they ever do, of course. The one time I actually tried to explain to the boss why I hadn't done something, he just stood there like a mute.

@Unicorn: I am. I can't afford to quit this one even though I'm working a second job. And no other jobs (that I could tolerate without wanting to kill myself) will hire me.

@Yuracye: I mean, I've been at the museum for almost 2 years, and still no luck finding any other job that I want and that will hire me for enough hours that I can actually leave. It's not actually terrible as long as I stay out of the Boss' line of sight.
