I probably spent more than I should have since I got the sushi box but it was my splurge for the month.

Acutally, usually doing things like that can help kids who have a parent, sibling, themselves, that have a dietary restriction. Gluten for you, diabetes, etc. Helps them not be afraid of it, or something to that extent. Lol.
Point is, since you said that it was a recent development (or at least that's the imrpession you gave) It could be really good to show him that the food is just as good as what 'normal' people eat.

@Amber Lynne: Oh, I know it! We've already had a food allergy talk, a few times, actually. He understands it okay and tries to help by feeding me stuff he thinks is okay. (Even if it isn't) XD So I've been letting him help me make food for me and letting him try it too.

It was more that I found out what was causing the allergy symptoms recently, I've been having difficulty with it for a while. So I've been slowly cutting things out and retrying it after a while. Since we switch to my sister's house, I had cut out bread and such since there were only a few more things to test. And the gluten caused an allergic reaction after reinducing it into my diet.

The doctor said grown-in allergies happen often and as long as I can manage it, I'm fine. But if it causes issues later or gets too difficult to do anything to come in for full testing and allergy meds/shots so they can take care of my other allergies too. *^*;

@Amber Lynne: And fun! X'D It was three of us; me, my SO, and sister. My SO pushed kiddo around (he walks fast so it makes the game harder) as he hid. Then he kept messaging my sister asking if we gave up after she found me. Lmao It took 20 minutes for us to find him and kiddo.
