"And that is?" Leo asked.

"WHERE are her clothes?" Hal inquired.

"I learned from the best. Cain and his mom are... super manipulative when need be." Lunet answered with a light laugh.

"As... for clothes... uhhh...." She paused before sighing.

"I gotta find her some. Nothing I have will fit her. She's... kinda got a more proper figure than I do."

"So I see." Hal responded.

He then sighed and shook his head.

"All right, both of you, inside." he told them, as they all entered the room.

"Sorry about that." he apologised to the one that was there.

"You say you don't have a name." he said.

"Do you have ANYTHING? Even a designation, or serial number?" he asked her.

"Did THESE two..." he continued, gesturing at Leo and Lunet, "...give you ANYTHING?" he asked further.

Leo, meanwhile, just looked sheepish and awkward, as he looked away slightly.

"I am Model 2.64" Was the response that was given. Lunet just sighed.

"Took us a bit too get her working." Lunet admitted.

"But, I didn't name her... as I thought you might like to give her a name yourself... as she's yours." She paused before sighing.

"If... if you'll have her, that is."

"....." Hal was silent, before looking at Leo and putting a finger up to Lunet, as if to say 'hold that thought'.

"You have something to say." he commented.

"Er... well, not... I mean... I don't really WANT to..." he admitted.

"Out with it." Hal insisted.

"Well... the design of her... how she functioned... and everything inside her... it was unlike anything I've ever made or built before." Leo responded. "I seriously think that she's my Magnum Opus of technology, even though the programming and software is all Lunet." he continued.

"...so I secretly started calling her 'Maggie'..." he admitted quietly.

"Hm." Hal mumbled, turning to his daughter.

"What do you think of that name?" he asked her. "And you as well." he added, looking at Model 2.64.

This made it clear to Lunet that Hal was not about to reject her, or decline this... if he was already thinking about an actual NAME for her.

Lunet just laughed, while the other nodded.

"I have no issues.' She started. Lunet, meanwhile, was just laughing.

"Although Miss Lunet had been calling me Chloe." She added.

"Yup." Lunet agreed with a nod.

"Not... sure which would be better, to be honest." She added.

"Do you have a preference?" She asked the one that mattered here.

"Am I supposed to have a preference?" Was the response.

"I'm going to get her some clothes." he said.

"I'll be back in a bit." he finished, before leaving the room.

Lunet just chuckled lightly.

"Se you soon!" She called to Leo as he left.

"Chloe, have a seat. You don't need to stay standing there." she added. The teenaged figure nodded before taking a seat back where Hal had found her initially.

"Now. Do you want me to get rid of her? I can." Lunet said, looking back to her dad.

"Or... do you actually want her? She ... was made to be completely capable of interfacing with the systems you have at work, as well."

Hal just sighed, and draped a blanket over Chloe.

"This is extremely awkward for me." he admitted.

"However, I can see what you were trying to do." he went on.

"I understand it, and I even commend it." he continued.

"So I'll give her a trial run, see if she can prove herself." he said further.

"Is that acceptable to you?" he asked.

"Is my body a problem?" Chloe asked, her voice a bit on the puzzled side.

"Yeah, definitely. Do as you will with her, and if there are any issues, let me or Leo know. Can almost guarnatee that we can deal with 'em." Lunet then said with a light laugh.

"It... will be awkward for the first bit though. I admittedly didn't give her a personality, although there are option. Want me to install any?"

Hal looked at Chloe first.

"You may not be human, but you DO look like one." he told her.

"As such, you should probably learn to cover your body up, in order to blend in better." he continued.

"Artificial or not, clothing is important." he insisted.

He then looked at his daughter, and sighed.

"Options." he said.

"Like what?" he asked.

"Is there no way for her to develop her OWN personality?"

Lunet just grinned.

"You .... really don't know the extent of my coding abilities do you?" She asked.

"Heh. She may start with a base personality, or nothing at all, and overtime it will shift, adapt, until she has her own." She told him simply and honestly.

"Little bites and pieces every day that she's active for however long." She then said. "Dunno how long it would take for results to be actually visible or noticable."

Hal seemed to be stunned for a moment.

He then crossed his arms over his chest.

"That settles it." he said.

"Remember how you said you've been wanting to work at the Unit, in my tech department?" he asked.

"And how I kept saying 'we'll see', and 'you'll need to prove yourself'?" he asked further.

"You just did." he said.

"I'd say this confirms your talent and abilities." he went on.

"Enough to give you a shot, anyway."

Lunet just shrugged.

"I... admittedly kinda figured as much. Even if just as a temp thing... since I'm not sure any of your current techs could... really decipher all my notes and the coding for Chloe." She admitted almost sheepishly.

"The best would be Leo, and he's an on again off again, due to other responsibilities." She added.

"But definitely good to know I got your approval with it." She paused before meeting his gaze, a bit of a quizzical look on her face.

". . . wait... aren't I still a bit young?"

"So let's get you an entry-level position in the tech lab area, and we'll see what happens." he continued.

"Those that work there will let you show them what you can do." he assured her.

"I mean, unless you don't WANT that..." he added, shrugging an in an exaggerated manner.

"If you wanna take on a child, I'm totally game." She said with a smirk. It really wasn't unknown that she wanted to work under him, if only because she had the confidence that she could actually do something, and be useful as could be.

".... But would the others actually give me a chance?" She asked. "I knwo that ... some people can be really... mmm... unwelcoming to those who are younger than they are."

"Chloe will be your test, your interview, essentially." he continued.

"That works. The only issue is if there's ever a need for tech support." She then said.

"You'll either need to give me access in, or bring her here." She told him. "And depending on the tech support needed, it's likely be better there. But that's a bridge we can cross when we get to it."

Hal thought for a moment about that little predicament.

"Hm." he muttered.

"I might have an idea." he said.

"But we'll need Leonard's approval on it." he said further.

"My approval for what?" Leo asked, having just returned with clothing. A pair of jeans, some socks, underwear, and a plain white shirt.

"We'll discuss it later." Hal told him.

"...all right then." Leo responded with a shrug, before bringing the clothing over to Chloe.

Chleo accepted the clothing from Leo with a nod.

"Grazie." She said, possibly catching Leo by surprise. Lunet didn't know if he was aware of her installing multiple language banks, along with their information. She knew that Chloe had full awareness of Leo being Italian and her being Welsh, but she didn't know Leo was aware of that.

Chloe, meanwhile, got to her feet and started to put the clothing on, finding that it fit a bit more snugly than Leo likely expected, but it did fit.
